Watergardens Town Centre partnered with the Western Bulldogs Community Foundation’s Daughters of the West (DOTW) program to support women’s health with the goal of playing a significant role in raising awareness and encouraging women to live better, eat better and get back into the game of life. The partnership embraced the identify of both organisations as key pillars in the community in Victoria’s West.

In October 2017 the Western Bulldogs Community Foundation, Gordon Legal and local councils launched the very first installment of the Daughters of the West Women's Health Program.

The Daughters of the West is a FREE 10 week health program for all women aged 18 and over living, working and recreating in Victoria’s West.

The eight-week pilot program is designed to give women the tools to lead a healthy life. Throughout the eight-weeks, participants will hear from a range of health experts who will interactively discuss topics related to physical and mental wellbeing. The Daughters of the West Program will be a safe and inclusive space in which women can reflect and share stories with each other.

No matter your background, age, fitness level or Western Bulldogs supporter status. You don’t even have to like sport! All women are welcome to the Daughters of the West.
