Join us at Watergardens for a free family-friendly community day featuring local heroes, working animals, kids' activities, entertainment, prizes and more!
Come along and meet our local heroes! We're bringing the community together at Watergardens for a fun-filled day celebrating the incredible people and animals who help keep our community safe.
Here's what's happening on the day:
- Meet local heroes – Meet Police Officers, Emergency Services teams and working animals, and learn more about the important roles they play in our community.
- Storytime with Police Officers – Settle in for a special storytime hosted by local Police Officers.
- Nova 100 Supernovas – Join the Nova 100 team for activities, entertainment and prize giveaways.
- Face painting – Let the kids get creative with a fun face paint design.
- Kids craft & creative workshops – Get hands-on with activities designed to keep little ones entertained.
- Raffle prizes – Get involved in the fantastic raffle, with funds raised supporting those who support us.
- Community BBQ – Enjoy a delicious BBQ and soak up the atmosphere while connecting with other members of our local community.

Note: The roadway and carpark closest to the Sydenham Library will be closed for the Community Fun Day from 10pm Friday 16 October until 6pm Saturday 17 October. Thank you for your understanding.
