The Australian Youth Aerospace Association (AYAA) is a not-for-profit organisation with the objective of promoting education, awareness and involvement in the aerospace industry to young Australians.

With over 1,000 students engaged annually, the AYAA aims to shape the future of the aerospace industry by uniting and engaging the youth of Australia through our common goals and interests.
Together they strive for growth and create opportunities, uphold their values, and work towards shared success.
From providing scholarship opportunities to young people in Australia aspiring to a career in space, to networking events and curated programs and workshops across the country, AYAA is dedicated to supporting and providing a pathway for students in high school through to University studies and post grad to pursue the world of space.
Dr. Chris Boshuizen has been a keynote speaker at several conferences, hired graduates from the program and sponsored their delegation to the IAC Paris Conference that took place in 2021. In a moment of full circle, a student shared his personal story who followed Dr Chris’s advice at a conference he was speaking at which resulted with him being accepted into Stanford University, moving to the US and applying for an internship which happened to be at Dr Chris’s company located in California called Planet Labs.
